I started my career as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in November 2016. Prior to joining the firm, I worked in education as an ROTC assistant college professor of military science at Jacksonville State University for 13 years, while simultaneously serving as an officer in the Army Reserves. I was commissioned as an Active Duty Army Officer in 1989 and served 30 years. After leaving active duty for eight months, I entered the Army Reserves in 1993, and have been in the Army Reserves until my retirement in June 2019. During my 30 years as an officer, I have served on four different long tour deployments. My first was during the Gulf War in Saudi Arabia, then I served on two different tours in Afghanistan, and then my last deployment was a few years ago in Kuwait. Partnering with individuals, families and small businesses in achieving their financial goals is a passion for me, and being a financial advisor affords me that opportunity.
